Okay I concede, Reign Over Me was VERY good. It's like his serious films are much better than the funny ones now-a-days. Just hope that Andy Samberg can save a little bit of what Sandler has left. Maybe I am just bitter now because I liked Happy Gilmore and Billy Madison so much.

Oops, Thanks for the comment. That's precisely what I did. I spent a lot of time shifting through summer flicks for what I hope/believe will be good and engaging and made a trailer gallery out of that. Since, I had some residual dread left from watching so many trailers, I followed up. These were the films that I had the most doubt in:

Is it my fault that Sandler winds up here with nary a bit of surprise on your part? He's been struggling. to put it nicely, but I have liked him before: Funny People, Reign Over Me to name Spanglish.

Did you just pick the 5 worst looking movies this summer? I mean, I do like your critiques, but this article seems self explanatory. "Hey guys, the new Adam Sandler movie? Doesn't look good." No way really?!

I'm thrilled that the rating has been changed. As a former teacher and someone who was bullied for years, it is essential that people see this movie. Everyone should see this movie and every parent should take their kids to see it and then use it as a springboard for a conversation. My hope is that the images in this movie will be disturbing enough to the potential bullies out there, that it will make them think twice. I also hope it will make administrators and teachers take a more active role in ending bullying in schools! If you are a parent and someone tells you that your child is a bully, don't ignore it and say "Not my child," instead, just for a moment consider, "What if it were true?" and then act accordingly. Kids are not always angels when they are out of range of the adults in their lives! Also, consider your own actions and behaviors... Do you judge others in front of your kids? Do you have biases or prejudices that you may (purposefully or not) that you pass on to your children? If so, stopping the hate starts with you!

Does anyone know when will this movie be available in Denver?

R rating on this movie is stupid. Its message applys to elementary and middle school kids as much as those over 16. If we wait to get the message to them years and lives will be lost.

I have a bento list I keep of all movies I've seen rated by 5 to 1 star and from that list I've seen 75 in the theatres and around 10 on blu ray that I had not seen in the theatre.

1. Tree of Life - I'm so happy that movies like this still exist.
2. Shame - An amazing character piece
3. Drive - Stylistic Retro B Movie Greatness
4. Hugo - Scorcese's retrospective love letter to cinema
5. Moneyball - I Love baseball and so does this movie.
6. Melancholia - depressing. Dark. Perfect.
7. The Artist - Lovely film.
8. The Skin I live in - scary. Beautiful. Shocking. Great style.
9. Super 8 - JJ Abrams + Spielberg = 80's monster movie greatness. Why can't all movies have children act like this?
10. Martha Marcy May Marlene - great performances and parallel storylines.

Haven't seen the others yet... wasn't impressed with the cerebral "Tree of Life" or the slow "Hugo"...

I was following the goings on in the streets, from inside the Ellie, and I hope the Mayor is aware that the reception his name recieved was noticeably luke warm, many like me, opted out of applauding his performance.

Margin Call is good movie, deals with some events that led to current situation in world but from different perspective - insider look. I did not watch other one. Trailer don't promise much.

I watched the Michael Moore Interview on Tuesday with Al Sharpton (MSNBC) and was quite confused on how Moore learned about the death of Martin Luther King Jr...(Go to 3:23 on the video). It was also his “moment” and talked about in his book......See Facts Below.

Moore said he came out of church and poured the incense on the snow.....then a man was "warming" his car up and heard the news on the radio and yelled it out….

Well, on April 4, 1968 the weather was 56 Degrees (Avg) for Moore's hometown of Davison, Michigan.....(Farmer's Almanac)

On April 4th, 1968, the closest available weather station to Davison, MI (FLINT BISHOP ARPT, MI), reported the following conditions:
